Head of Finance

The Company is seeking a Head of Finance to take on a pivotal role with overall commercial responsibility for finance, accounting, and controlling, including tax-related matters. The successful candidate will be tasked with the strategic management of planning, budgeting, and forecasting, and will be expected to ensure the achievement of financial targets. This role also involves the professional and disciplinary management of a finance team, as well as being a key sparring partner to the management through decision-relevant analyses and reporting. The Head of Finance will be responsible for the financial structures, processes, and ERP systems, with a strong focus on efficiency, scalability, and quality of financial close. Applicants for the Head of Finance position at the company should have a completed commercial training with substantial experience in finance and accounting, ideally supplemented by a business administration degree. Expertise in preparing financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB) is essential, as is in-depth knowledge of cost accounting, liquidity management, and business interrelationships. The role requires a candidate with a strong analytical, structured, and goal-oriented work ethic, high reliability, a strong sense of responsibility, and convincing communication skills. The Head of Finance will also be responsible for cash and working capital management, payment transactions, bank reporting, and external reporting, and will play a key role in the set-up and further development of management-oriented reporting for transparent corporate management.
