Head of Electronic Development Department

The Company is seeking a Head of Electronic Development Department to mentor and monitor the E/E system application department, ensuring the successful achievement of project goals. The successful candidate will lead E/E development and implement medium- and long-term E/E strategies in close cooperation with central R&A development. This role involves being the overarching lead for E/E system development, including support for various departments in a matrix organization, and conducting continuous market surveillance to maintain competitiveness. The Head of Electronic Development will also be the escalation path for all E/E topics within the product line and will define E/E strategies in cooperation with sales, procurement, and central R&A. Applicants must have a university degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or mechanical engineering with E/E experience, and a minimum of 10 years' professional experience, including disciplinary and functional leadership. A strong understanding of complex, safety-relevant mechatronic systems, particularly in the automotive industry, is essential. The role requires very good English skills, with German being a plus, and a work style that is independent, responsible, and characterized by strong interpersonal and communication skills. The Head of Electronic Development should also be resilient, flexible, and willing to travel as needed.
