Global Head of Contracting

The Company is in search of a Global Head of Contracting with a strong commercial background to take on a pivotal leadership role within its Corporate & Investment Banking division. The successful candidate will be tasked with driving business growth, portfolio performance, client acquisition, risk management, and team development across a diverse international portfolio. This includes overseeing a large and complex portfolio of corporate relationships and leading a high-performing team recognized for structuring benchmark transactions and delivering innovative banking solutions. The role demands a strategic leader who can develop and execute business strategies, lead the achievement of financial and non-financial objectives, and drive initiatives to position the company as a leading corporate banking partner in target markets. Applicants must have a minimum of 20-25 years' of corporate and investment banking experience, with a proven track record in managing large corporate banking portfolios and complex client relationships. Key responsibilities for the Global Head of Contracting include business development, relationship management, portfolio and credit risk management, product and revenue growth, leadership, and talent development. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of corporate banking, credit analysis, balance sheet management, and risk frameworks, as well as strong commercial acumen, strategic planning capabilities, and exceptional stakeholder management skills. The role also requires the ability to operate effectively in competitive and dynamic markets, excellent negotiation, decision-making, and problem-solving capabilities, and a commitment to fostering a performance-driven culture focused on collaboration, client excellence, and continuous improvement.
