Vice President of Operations

The Company is seeking a VP Operations Lead for its Dutch portfolio company, a fully integrated production organization in a highly regulated and fast-developing market. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and scaling a fully integrated production platform, with a focus on strengthening cross-functional alignment, planning, and operational coordination. This senior leadership role demands a background in complex production, manufacturing, or processing environments, particularly in FMCG, food processing, packaging, or other regulated industries. The VP Operations Lead will be instrumental in the company's transition from entrepreneurial growth to scalable performance, and as such, a proven track record in operational excellence, process improvement, and strong leadership is essential. Applicants for the VP Operations Lead position should have at least 12 years' of operational leadership experience, including a minimum of 5 years' in a senior management role. A bachelor's degree in engineering, operations management, business administration, supply chain, or a related field is preferred. The role requires a leader who is visible, pragmatic, and able to build trust across all levels of the organization, with a people-first leadership style that combines high standards with discipline. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Dutch and English and will be adept at managing complexity across multiple functions, with a strong focus on quality, compliance, planning, and cost control. While prior experience in the cannabis industry is not mandatory, the ability to operate in a demanding and evolving market is crucial.
