Vice President, Global Subsidiary Banker, Corporate Banking

The Company is seeking a VP Global Subsidiary Banker to join their team in Tokyo. This role is pivotal in managing and expanding relationships with multinational corporations and their local subsidiaries. The successful candidate will be the primary banking relationship manager in Japan, responsible for developing and executing strategic account plans to meet clients' treasury, financing, and expansion objectives. Key responsibilities include building strong relationships with senior decision-makers, identifying and originating new business opportunities, and ensuring the delivery of seamless cross-border banking solutions. The role demands a high level of client service, proactive solution provision, and a strong focus on risk management and compliance. Applicants must have a minimum of 8 years' experience in corporate banking or a related client-facing financial services role, with a proven track record in business development and client relationship management. In-depth knowledge of cash management, liquidity solutions, trade finance, and treasury products is essential. The role requires excellent communication, relationship-building, and strategic thinking skills, as well as the ability to engage with senior stakeholders across different cultures. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification is required, and experience within a global banking organization is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a strong network within multinational corporate treasury or finance functions and be adept at managing client strategies across multiple regions.
