Head of Finance

The Company is seeking a Group Head of Finance to join their team in Athens. This pivotal role involves driving financial excellence across the group, ensuring IFRS compliance, and managing consolidated financial reporting for a multi-entity organization. The successful candidate will lead the preparation of group consolidated financial statements, oversee the annual audit process, and serve as Company Secretary. Additionally, the role includes maintaining the fixed asset register, and robust internal control systems, and partnering with the CEO and department heads on budgeting and strategic forecasting. Applicants for the Group Head of Finance position at the company should be qualified CA or equivalent, with a minimum of 5 years' of relevant experience, including group reporting and consolidations. A background in a "Top 10" audit firm and experience within the hospitality industry are essential. The role requires a leader with a natural mentoring ability, capable of developing a high-performing finance team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for integrity and process improvement, and be a strategic partner to the executive team. High proficiency in Excel is necessary, and experience with ERP systems, particularly Galaxy, is a plus.
