Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

The Company is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead its mission-driven healthcare organization through a pivotal phase of growth and expansion. The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding the strategic expansion of the company's footprint, deepening partnerships with managed care plans, providers, and community organizations. This role requires a leader with a deep understanding of the California Medi-Cal ecosystem, including reimbursement models and regulatory landscape, to navigate and advocate for the company's innovative care model. The CEO will also be tasked with leading the evolution of payer partnerships, cultivating strategic relationships, and developing long-term strategies for expansion beyond California. Operationally, the CEO will be expected to build and implement scalable infrastructure, technology, and workflows to support the organization's growth while maintaining a focus on clinical quality and patient outcomes. Applicants for the CEO position at the company should have a minimum of 7 years' executive leadership experience within a healthcare delivery or services organization, with a proven track record of scaling and managing multi-site operations. The role demands a leader with strong financial acumen, including P&L management, and experience in securing strategic partnerships and diverse funding models. The ideal candidate will have a background in nonprofit governance, experience in value-based care, and a deep commitment to the principles of whole-person and human-centered care. Preferred qualifications include experience in organizational expansion across multiple states, working with founders during transition periods, and a background in healthcare policy or industry advocacy. The CEO will also be responsible for fostering a culture of mission alignment, transparent communication, and continuous learning within the organization.
