Chief Operating Officer (COO)

The Company is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the execution of management and business strategies, working closely with the CEO to drive business growth. This role involves designing and improving organizational and operational processes, promoting business strategy, and decision-making, and designing KPIs for each function. The COO will also be involved in formulating business plans, managing budgets, and standardizing operations, particularly in the sales and customer service areas. Additionally, the role includes designing and operating organizational structures, evaluation systems, and goal management systems, as well as promoting collaboration with product and engineering teams. Applicants for the COO position at the company should have a background that includes practical experience at a strategy consulting firm, particularly in upstream processes such as strategy formulation and business plan development. The role requires a candidate with a Bachelor's degree, fluent in Japanese, and with a proven track record in project management, decision-making support through KPI design, and team management. Experience in a startup or established company, business management with P&L responsibility, and a background in entrepreneurship are preferred. The ideal candidate will be adept at cross-departmental problem-solving, and decision-making, and will be able to promote important initiatives related to business growth, including new businesses and alliances.
