Head of Legal & Compliance

The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management and operation of legal and compliance functions, providing legal advice to domestic and international businesses, and offering support for M&A and partnership deals. Applicants for the Head of Legal and Compliance position at the company must have a minimum of 5 years' practical experience as a lawyer at a law firm or as in-house counsel at an international company. A Japanese lawyer qualification, completion of law studies at an accredited law school or university, and fluency in Japanese with business-level English proficiency are essential. The role requires a candidate who is adept at operating in a corporate legal environment and is capable of handling a diverse range of legal and compliance issues.
