Head of Operations

The Company is in search of a Head of Operations to spearhead the transition from a pilot facility to a large-scale production network. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of factory operations, including P&L, throughput, labor efficiency, quality, safety, and cost reduction. This role demands a leader with a strong background in advanced manufacturing or industrial environments, particularly in the areas of Lean manufacturing, operational excellence, and continuous improvement. The Head of Operations will be tasked with developing and implementing the operational playbook, SOPs, and management systems to support future multi-site expansion, as well as building and leading plant leadership teams through significant workforce growth. Applicants for the Head of Operations position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' of operations leadership experience, with a proven track record in launching or scaling large manufacturing facilities. The role requires a leader with strong financial acumen, capable of owning operational metrics and factory performance. Executive-level communication and leadership skills are essential, as is the ability to work in highly automated, technology-enabled manufacturing environments. A background in advanced manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, industrial automation, high-volume production, or related fields is preferred, and experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or TWI is highly desirable. The ideal candidate will be adept at solving complex operational challenges and will thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where the focus is on building and developing systems, teams, and processes.
