Associate Vice President, Control Room

The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President for their Control Room. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and monitoring the firm's information barriers, managing conflicts, and overseeing non-public information risk. This includes pre-clearing communication between different business units, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory obligations in research publications, and interacting with various teams to uphold the firm's watch and restricted lists. The role also involves working with global Control Room teams to establish a cohesive operating model and participating in internal and external investigations as needed. Applicants must have a minimum of 7 years' experience in compliance, risk, or a related controls function, with a strong focus on attention to detail, administrative skills, and an analytical approach to problem-solving. The role requires the ability to meet tight deadlines, make quick and reasoned decisions under pressure, and possess strong interpersonal skills. A proactive and organized work ethic, as well as the ability to work effectively both as a team player and independently, are essential. Awareness of regulatory and internal control requirements, particularly in relation to effective information barrier arrangements, is also a key qualification for this position.
