Head of Medical & Scientific Affairs

The Company is seeking a Head of Medical and Scientific Affairs to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of the medical strategy, ensuring it is in strong alignment with business objectives and portfolio priorities. This role requires the provision of medical and scientific leadership, driving excellence, credibility, and compliance across all medical activities. The Head will also act as a strategic partner to cross-functional teams, contribute to key decisions through scientific insight, and ensure the quality and integrity of medical deliverables in line with regulatory and patient safety requirements. Applicants for this role at The Company should be Medical Doctors or hold an equivalent degree, with a strong track record in the pharmaceutical and/or healthcare industry. Experience in medical affairs, clinical development, and/or medical leadership functions is essential, as is a strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, compliance, and scientific governance. The role demands a proven ability to navigate complex organizations, build alignment, and drive impact through collaboration and stakeholder management. Excellent communication skills and a clear trajectory towards a wider medical leadership mandate within a structured and high-performing environment are also required. The Head will be expected to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, enhancing the medical function's impact and influence across the organization.
