Senior Legal Counsel

The Company is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join their team. The successful candidate will serve as the primary legal contact for the business unit, with a focus on all contractual matters, including the drafting, negotiation, and conclusion of project contracts on both domestic and international fronts. This role also involves defending against and enforcing legal claims at various levels, training employees on legal topics, and monitoring the development of relevant legislative proposals. The Senior Legal Counsel will be expected to support internal processes with legal expertise, contribute to international and interdisciplinary project teams, and maintain close communication with legal colleagues in the DACH region. Additionally, the position includes a shared responsibility for compliance and its implementation. Applicants for the Senior Legal Counsel position should be fully qualified lawyers with two completed state examinations and have a background in a similar field, preferably with knowledge of public procurement law and experience in plant engineering. The role requires a candidate with strong business acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Fluency in English is essential due to the international nature of the position, and the willingness to travel occasionally is also a requirement. The ideal candidate will be solution-oriented, enjoy collaboration in diverse teams, and be adept at coordinating with external law firms and consultants.
