The Company is seeking a VP of Merchandising & Proprietary Brands to lead the strategic vision and growth agenda for its product assortment and brand portfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and driving the commercial and merchandising strategy, with a focus on assortment, category, brand, and customer growth across both physical and digital channels. This senior leader will also be tasked with developing and leading strategic vendor relationships, setting the vision for proprietary brands, and championing innovation to strengthen the company's competitive position. The role requires a proven track record in retail merchandising, strong financial and analytical acumen, and the ability to influence and align with senior leaders across the organization. Candidates for the VP of Merchandising & Proprietary Brands role at the company should have a Bachelor's degree (MBA or advanced degree preferred) and at least 12 years' experience in merchandising, buying, or planning, particularly within the luxury, beauty, or specialty retail sectors. The role demands a leader with exceptional executive communication, influence, and relationship management skills, who is entrepreneurial, adaptable, and energized by leading through change and growth. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of omnichannel retail, experience in proprietary or private label development, and a proven ability to drive financial performance and business results. As a key member of the senior leadership team, the VP will also be responsible for leading and developing a high-performing merchandising organization and fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and customer-centricity.
