The Company is in search of a Chief Executive Officer for its Faculty Physicians, a role that demands a visionary leader with a strong background in executive management within a large, multispecialty physician group or integrated physician enterprise. The CEO will be tasked with the strategic, operational, financial, and cultural performance of the Faculty Physicians, ensuring alignment with the academic priorities of the associated medical school. This includes developing and implementing a multi-year strategy, integrating practice plan operations into the clinical enterprise, and partnering with system leadership on various growth and development initiatives. The successful candidate will also be responsible for financial performance, including leading the operating budget, driving revenue cycle performance, and designing a transparent academic funds flow model. Applicants for the CEO position must hold an MD or DO from an accredited medical or osteopathic school and have a proven track record of progressive executive leadership, particularly in the areas of operational and financial improvement. Experience in an academic health system, especially one serving a complex urban or safety-net population, is highly valued. The role requires a leader who can effectively partner with medical school leadership and clinical department chairs, and who is adept at leading through governance transition and practice plan restructuring. A strong background in value-based and risk-bearing contracting, as well as experience in negotiating and administering funds flow between academic and clinical entities, is also preferred.
