The Company is seeking a Vice President and Chief Health AI Officer (CHAIO) to lead the strategic vision, governance, and operational execution of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the healthcare setting. The successful candidate will be a licensed physician with expertise in clinical practice, healthcare operations, informatics, and AI, and will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive enterprise AI strategy that aligns with organizational priorities. This includes leading the development of the AI ecosystem, ensuring the security, interoperability, and compliance of AI solutions, and establishing governance structures to oversee AI initiatives. The CHAIO will also be accountable for the responsible and ethical use of AI, with a focus on transparency, fairness, and mitigating risks associated with AI technologies. As the executive leader for Health AI, the CHAIO will collaborate with various stakeholders to identify and implement AI-enabled solutions that enhance patient care, clinician and staff experiences, and operational performance. The role involves representing the company in AI governance activities, fostering strategic partnerships, and promoting AI literacy and workforce readiness. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AI and technology, a proven track record of leading multidisciplinary teams, and the ability to cultivate a culture of innovation and responsible AI adoption. The CHAIO will also be responsible for establishing performance indicators for AI initiatives and ensuring that AI investments lead to measurable improvements in various aspects of the healthcare system.
