About the Role
Greater St. Louis, MO Area (Hybrid)
The Company is seeking a Chief Operating Officer for Global Finance to lead the operational excellence and transformation of the finance function across all global markets. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the finance modernization agenda, overseeing large-scale transformation initiatives, and ensuring that the finance function operates as a high-performance, insights-driven organization. This role requires a visionary leader with a proven track record in finance transformation, technology implementations, and a deep understanding of global regulatory and compliance requirements. The COO will also be tasked with leading the digital transformation of finance, including the adoption of AI, automation, and modern data platforms, and will be expected to build and sustain a high-performing, digitally-fit finance organization. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with an advanced qualification such as an MBA, CPA, or CFA preferred. A minimum of 15 years' of progressive finance leadership experience, including at least 5 years' in a senior executive role, is required. The ideal candidate will have a background in life insurance, reinsurance, or financial services, and experience with ERP and finance technology implementations at an enterprise scale. Strategic acumen, executive presence, and the ability to influence and lead change at all levels of the organization are essential. The role also demands a leader with a strong talent strategy, cultural intelligence, and the ability to drive a culture of excellence and innovation within the global finance community.
