Head of Internal Audit

The Company is seeking a Head of Internal Audit to play a pivotal role in the establishment of a new department with a focus on global operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for advising the CFO and the global team, as well as leading internal audit programs with a strong emphasis on a risk-based approach. This role involves not only the execution of audits but also the identification and promotion of process improvement opportunities, strengthening internal controls, and supporting the development of a corporate risk management approach. The Head of Internal Audit will be expected to have practical experience in internal audit, risk management, finance, and operations improvement, and to demonstrate leadership in a global organizational setting. Applicants for the Head of Internal Audit position at the company should have a background that includes work experience in both Japanese and multinational companies, particularly in manufacturing or businesses with complex processes. The role requires a candidate with a Bachelor's degree, business-level proficiency in Japanese and English, and a strong interest in building internal audit operations that leverage digital tools, analytics, and AI. Key skills include the ability to manage stakeholders across regions and departments, document creation, communication, data analysis, and adaptability to the business environments of both Japanese and multinational companies. A Certified Public Accountant, CIA, or equivalent professional qualification is preferred.
