Vice President, SEC Reporting

The Company is seeking a Vice President for SEC Reporting to take on a senior leadership role within the Corporate Accounting function. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full lifecycle of the company's public reporting obligations, including the preparation and filing of various SEC reports. This role involves close collaboration with the Consolidations team, FP&A, Investor Relations, and both internal and external legal counsel. The Vice President will also serve on the firm's Disclosure Committee, prepare materials for the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors, and ensure the company's public disclosures are in compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC pronouncements. A key aspect of the position is to lead the team in leveraging technology and artificial intelligence to modernize the reporting process and drive continuous improvement. Applicants for the Vice President, SEC Reporting position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree, with a concentration in accounting, finance, or a related field, and a CPA certification. A minimum of 10 years' professional experience is required, with a significant background in Big 4 public accounting and/or SEC reporting at a public company. The role demands a deep understanding of SEC financial statement disclosure requirements, excellent communication skills, and proven leadership abilities. Experience in the private equity or financial services industries is strongly preferred, as is familiarity with AI tools and a forward-looking orientation toward process automation. The Vice President will also be expected to manage and develop a direct report and provide leadership across the broader Corporate Accounting function.
