Interim Head of Quality Assurance

The Company is seeking a Head of Quality Assurance with a specialization in offshore compression. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all quality assurance activities and performance for both internal and external teams, ensuring effective communication, coordination, and system implementation according to project needs. This role involves engaging in new project activities from conceptual design to commissioning, with a focus on applying lessons learned from previous projects and ensuring a smooth transition to a permanent organization. The Head of Quality Assurance will also be tasked with managing the Quality Management System for all projects, reinforcing quality requirements, and ensuring the resolution of issues to the satisfaction of stakeholders. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in sciences or engineering, a qualification in quality improvement processes, and quality auditor training or certification. A minimum of 15 years' experience in quality in the oil and gas industry, including at least 5 years in a supervisory or oversight role, is required. The role demands a candidate with a strong background in quality systems, specifications, tools, and industry standards, as well as knowledge of manufacturing and fabrication processes. Experience in large-scale operating organizations and with relevant codes and standards is essential. The ideal candidate will be fluent in English, possess strong analytical, leadership, and facilitation skills, and demonstrate the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
