Interim Head of Contracts

The Company is seeking a Head of Contracts to lead a sub-team responsible for the management of a multi-billion EPCC contract. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the safe, on-time, and on-budget delivery of the project. This leadership position also involves contributing to the establishment of a Major Projects Contract Center of Expertise and building a strong skill pool to support the company's vision and digital transformation in the procurement and contract management space. The Head of Contracts will be the primary provider of commercial and contracting direction for the EPCC contract, including the delivery of the Value Protection plan and the management of the change order process. Close collaboration with supply, legal, and risk management teams is essential, as is the ability to maintain effective relationships and provide central coordination for contractual responses. Applicants for the Head of Contracts role at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in business, law, or engineering, and a minimum of 10 years' experience in a similar position within the context of multi-billion lump sum major energy projects. The role requires a professional with a background in project management, construction, or project control, and the ability to work in a high-pressure, dynamic environment with a focus on flawless project execution. Key responsibilities include the development of post-award contract management strategies, coordination of contract evaluations, and support for the management of claims.
