Senior Legal Counsel

The Company is in search of a Senior Legal Counsel to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing practical and business-oriented legal advice, managing complex legal, commercial, and transactional issues, and leading legal projects within the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg. This role requires a legal professional with a strong background in drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, particularly in the areas of outsourcing, technology, and procurement. Experience in IT or technology services is a plus. The Senior Legal Counsel will also be involved in regional and group-wide legal initiatives, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement projects. Applicants for the Senior Legal Counsel position at the company should hold a legal attorney license in the Netherlands or Belgium and have approximately six to twelve years' of relevant work experience. The role demands a proactive, pragmatic, and flexible attitude, with the ability to operate independently and build strong collaborative relationships. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in commercial law, excellent judgment, analytical skills, and a high degree of professional ethics. Proficiency in English is essential, and knowledge of Dutch and/or Flemish is an advantage. The role is suited to a candidate with a commercial law background, who is adept at handling legal issues in a business context and is willing to travel occasionally within the region.
