Senior Legal Counsel

The Company is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join its team. This strategic role involves providing expert legal advice on a wide range of commercial, regulatory, governance, and operational matters. The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various commercial agreements, as well as supporting senior leadership in key legal and business decisions. Additionally, the role includes monitoring legislative and regulatory developments, leading ethics and compliance initiatives, and managing due diligence processes, compliance frameworks, and risk assessments. The Senior Legal Counsel will also be instrumental in supporting procurement and contracting activities, ensuring strong governance, and fostering effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years' of post-qualification experience, with a background in the energy, infrastructure, natural resources, industrial, or large-scale project development sectors. Strong commercial contracting, negotiation, and legal advisory skills are essential, as is a proven track record in compliance, governance, and risk management. The role requires the ability to operate confidently in a dynamic regulatory environment and manage multiple stakeholder groups. Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship management skills are a must for this position.
