The Company is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join their team of dedicated IT specialists. The successful candidate will be responsible for operational leadership, translating the CEO's vision into concrete and consistent operating plans, and ensuring technical and operational excellence across the organization. This role requires a proven track record in senior operational leadership, with a strong preference for experience in a managed services provider or comparable professional services firm. The COO will be tasked with strengthening day-to-day operations, owning the cost-to-serve and labor economics, and building the systems and structure necessary to support a high-performing technical services team. Executive partnership, a culture of transparency and accountability, and a mission-driven approach to using technology to power client missions are also key aspects of the role. Candidates for the COO position at the company should have at least 5 years' of progressive operations leadership, including 5 years' at the Vice President level or above, with a focus on P&L accountability. A background in IT services, project delivery, or cybersecurity is essential, as is a strong command of labor-cost unit economics. The ideal candidate will have experience with structured operating disciplines, such as EOS, and a proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams. Executive qualifications include authentic leadership, executive presence, and a strategic, analytical approach to decision-making. The role demands a strong communicator, a collaborator, and a trust-builder, with a hunger for excellence and a commitment to a sustainable work pace. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, with a preference for an MBA or master's degree, and Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus.
