Assistant General Counsel

The Company is seeking an Assistant General Counsel to provide strategic legal support across a wide range of commercial, corporate, operational, and business matters. The successful candidate will serve as a legal advisor to business partners in various departments, including sales, supply chain, information technology, digital, marketing, real estate, finance, treasury, tax, and other corporate functions. This role requires a business generalist with the ability to deliver practical legal advice, negotiate and manage commercial transactions, and support strategic and corporate initiatives. The Assistant General Counsel will also be responsible for identifying and mitigating legal and business risks, ensuring legal compliance, and supporting the continuous improvement of legal processes. Applicants for the Assistant General Counsel position at the company should have a Juris Doctor degree and 8-12 years of legal experience, with a preference for those with in-house experience in the apparel industry. The role demands a professional with a strong commercial mindset, the ability to build trusted relationships with senior leaders, and a proven track record of delivering business-focused legal advice in a fast-paced environment. Leadership competencies such as strategic thinking, global agility, and a customer-centric approach to innovation are essential. The ideal candidate will have a background in the negotiation of standard and nonstandard contracts, and subcontracts, and experience in a global public company is also preferred.
