Vice President, Equity Derivatives

The Company is in search of a VP, Senior Java Software Engineer to take on a pivotal role in leading high-performance Java engineering for front-office equity derivatives trading. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of Java-based trading applications, with a focus on low-latency technology to support real-time trading. This role demands a professional with over 10 years of hands-on Java and Core Java engineering experience, a strong background in front-office technology within financial markets, and a proven track record in building low-latency or real-time trading systems. The VP will also be tasked with translating complex trading requirements into technical solutions, enhancing quoting applications, and driving engineering standards across various aspects including quality, security, and compliance.
