The successful candidate will be responsible for the further development of production processes, leading a team of 20 employees, and maintaining a modern machine park. Key tasks include planning and controlling order processing, monitoring material planning and inventory levels, and increasing productivity. The role also involves budget responsibility, as well as the coordination and implementation of investment planning. The ideal candidate should have a master craftsman/technician or degree in mechanical engineering, sound knowledge of CNC machining, and several years of management experience in leading production teams. Applicants for the Head of Machining position at the company should be adept at value stream orientation, with a strong understanding of end-to-end processes, and be KPI-oriented, particularly in the areas of OEE, lead times, and setup times. Experience in project work, such as the implementation of lean projects and KPIs, is essential.
