Senior Legal Counsel

The Company is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel with a focus on commercial contracting, risk management, and a strong background in the FMCG and manufacturing industries. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the full spectrum of commercial contract activities, including the drafting, negotiation, and review of high-value regional agreements. This role demands the delivery of practical, business-aligned legal advice that not only mitigates risk but also supports the company's growth objectives. Additionally, the Senior Legal Counsel will be involved in dispute resolution, external counsel oversight, and ensuring cross-border compliance and governance across multiple SEA jurisdictions. Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' of post-qualification experience, with a specific emphasis on the FMCG and manufacturing sectors, and a proven track record in the regional SEA market. The role requires a professional who can autonomously manage litigation strategies, supervise external legal counsel, and maintain strict budget and cost controls. The ideal candidate will also have experience in corporate secretarial and board support, as well as a strong background in legal operations and business empowerment, including the development of legal SOPs, contract templates, and policy frameworks. A Bachelor's degree in law is the minimum educational requirement for this position.
