Vice President, Custody Tax Operations

Greater Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia Area (Hybrid)
The Company is seeking a Senior Manager for Custody Tax Operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the implementation of the custody tax strategy, ensuring appropriate risk management, and leading a team that supports key change initiatives, including the implementation of new systems. This role requires a strategic view of business requirements, seamless delivery of key operations, and the ability to champion the needs of custody tax operations in alignment with the company's global strategy. The Senior Manager will also be a key point of coordination between various teams, including group tax, tax product in the business, IT, and NFR controls, and will be expected to demonstrate strong leadership, teamwork, and operational effectiveness. To succeed in this role, candidates must have a proven track record in delivering a robust and standardized service catalog, establishing senior relationships with key stakeholders, and leading process improvement initiatives. The role demands a strong communicator, a proactive individual with a solutions-led approach, and the ability to influence and build consensus in a global matrix organization. A good understanding of the tax regulatory environment, continuous improvement, and project management experience are desirable. The candidate should be an analytical, detail-oriented, and strong delivery-focused professional, with excellent client management and interpersonal skills, capable of driving a culture of digitization and data adoption.
