Chief Financial Officer (CFO) (Board-level role)

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Executive Board Member to lead the financial management and administrative processes of the company and its funds. The successful candidate will be a key player in the strategic development and decision-making process, with a focus on private equity, venture capital, and alternative investment strategies. Key responsibilities for the CFO include participating in Board decisions, defining and overseeing the company's financial strategy, business plan, and budget, monitoring capital adequacy and regulatory financial reporting, managing treasury and banking relationships, and overseeing outsourced financial services. The role also involves supporting investor reporting, fundraising activities, and leading the Finance and Operations function. Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 10 years' experience, including senior finance leadership within a regulated financial services environment. Strong knowledge of financial reporting, prudential requirements, and regulatory matters is essential, as is experience in managing external service providers, auditors, and financial stakeholders. The role requires a candidate with strong leadership, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management skills, and fluency in both Portuguese and English. The CFO will be expected to have a proven track record in a similar role within the financial services industry, particularly in asset management, fund management, or other regulated financial institutions.
