Senior Legal Counsel

The Company is in search of a Senior Legal Counsel to join its international legal team. This pivotal role involves providing commercially focused legal support across a wide range of matters that impact the organization's international operations. The successful candidate will be the sole UK-based lawyer, working closely with senior stakeholders and the General Counsel, and will have a significant level of autonomy and involvement in strategic global business decisions. Key responsibilities for the Senior Legal Counsel include offering expert legal advice on commercial, corporate, and governance matters, as well as drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial contracts. The role also encompasses supporting international projects, partnerships, and cross-border transactions, and advising on company law, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance. Applicants for the Senior Legal Counsel position at the company should be qualified Solicitors or Barristers with a strong background in commercial legal matters, particularly in the areas of commercial contracts, corporate law, and risk management. Experience in international or cross-border legal work is essential, as is the ability to manage a varied legal workload independently. The role requires excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills, as well as strong stakeholder management and business partnering capabilities.
