This strategic role is pivotal in disaggregating from its previous faculty function and establishing a new identity, culture, and operating model. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing visible leadership, creating a pathway to independence, and ensuring financial growth and sustainability. This includes developing a diverse financial model, leading change management programs, and building a workforce that is aligned with the new organizational values. The role also involves overseeing the College's risk management, and external communications, and representing the College in advocacy and influence activities. Candidates for the Executive Director position at the company should have extensive senior leadership experience, particularly in complex, multistakeholder environments such as healthcare, membership, or not-for-profit sectors. The role requires a proven track record in leading organizational transformation, including cultural change, and a deep understanding of charity governance and the healthcare landscape. The ideal candidate will have strong financial and commercial acumen, the ability to drive organizational improvement, and a collaborative, solutions-focused approach.
