About the Role
Greater Louisville, KY Area (Hybrid)
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Health, Safety, and Environmental (HS&E) to lead the strategic direction and executive performance of HSSE across its U.S. Convenience and Mobility business. The successful candidate will be the senior HS&E leader for a large, geographically dispersed operation, with a focus on company-owned retail sites, franchise locations, and various support functions. This role is pivotal in developing and delivering an integrated HS&E strategy that not only ensures compliance with regulatory requirements but also fosters a culture of safety, risk management, and environmental stewardship. The Vice President will be accountable for operational risk management, process safety, occupational safety, and environmental compliance, and will work closely with executive leadership and central HS&E organization to establish and maintain enterprise-wide standards. Applicants for the Vice President, HS&E role at the company should have significant experience in health, safety, environmental, or risk management leadership, preferably within a multi-site operating environment. A strong understanding of HSSE regulatory requirements, particularly those applicable to retail fueling and convenience store operations, is essential. The role requires a leader with a proven track record in incident investigation, risk assessment, and corrective action, as well as the ability to build a hands-on, field-credible safety culture. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred, and the candidate should be adept at working across matrixed reporting lines while maintaining clear accountability. The Vice President will also be responsible for leading a team, setting clear priorities, and ensuring accountability for safety and environmental outcomes across the network.
