Assistant Vice President, Fund Accounting, Real Assets

The Company is seeking an Assistant Vice President for Fund Accounting in Real Assets. The successful candidate will be a core member of the Fund Accounting - Real Estate team, responsible for a range of tasks including reviewing books and records, preparing financial statements and reports, and supervising key processes and transactions. This role requires a minimum of 6 years' experience in accounting for the financial services sector, particularly in real estate, asset management, or fund administration, and a Bachelor's degree in a related field. The AVP will also be involved in supervising and training junior staff, acting as a primary contact with on-shore stakeholders, and assisting in the coordination of the team to meet client deliverables. Applicants for the Assistant Vice President position should have a strong background in fund accounting, with a focus on real assets. Supervisory skills and experience in managing staff are essential, as is a good understanding of IFRS and/or USGAAP. The role demands excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft applications. The ideal candidate will be a motivated team manager, capable of balancing individual responsibilities, and be amenable to a hybrid work setup.
