The Company is seeking a Lead Principal Auditor to join its Group Audit’s Finding Validation Centre. This senior SME role is pivotal in providing objective assurance and insight to senior management and regulators. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading complex audits, coaching auditors, and engaging with senior stakeholders. Key responsibilities include supporting the Principal Audit Manager in the delivery of finding validations, handling complex significant findings, and ensuring the quality and timeliness of results. The role also involves leading by example, guiding the team, and keeping abreast of regulatory and audit-related developments. Candidates for this role at The Company should have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or a related discipline, with an advanced degree and professional certification preferred. In-depth experience in an audit function within the financial services industry, particularly in technology, procurement, or third-party/vendor risk audits, is highly advantageous. The role requires a good knowledge of regulatory requirements, strong analytical skills, and the ability to lead and coordinate multiple audit projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building meaningful relationships, excellent communication skills, and the ability to leverage AI tools responsibly.
