The successful candidate will be responsible for providing end-to-end support to investment company clients, ensuring the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, portfolio schedules, and associated mandatory reports. This role is pivotal in meeting stringent deadlines for audits, reviews, and submissions to regulators. The Assistant Vice President will also act as the primary point of escalation for client relationships, manage a team, and collaborate with global teams to ensure consistent service delivery and client satisfaction. Proactive risk management, technical support, and the ability to lead and implement standard practices and technology enhancements are also key aspects of the position. Applicants for the Assistant Vice President role should have a Bachelor's degree in commerce or economics, with a specialization in business, accounting, finance, or equivalent experience. A professional qualification such as CA, CPA, or ACCA is preferred. The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years' experience in mutual funds, hedge funds, financial reporting, accounting, auditing, or related business activities, and possess strong financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and tax skills. The role requires the ability to meet deadlines, strong problem-solving and resolution skills, and the capacity to interact with on-shore and off-shore teams.
