Head of Research & Development

The successful candidate will be tasked with advancing new molecules, formulations, process technologies, and sustainable chemistries, with a strong focus on driving breakthrough innovation in crop protection, specialty chemicals, and next-generation technologies. This role requires a strategic leader who can align R&D and technology strategy with long-term business objectives, identify emerging technologies and market trends, and lead the development of differentiated, customer-centric products. The Head of R&D will also be responsible for the complete product development lifecycle, from concept to commercialization, and must ensure successful scale-up, first-time-right manufacturing, and compliance with regulatory standards. Applicants for the Head of R&D position at the company should hold a Ph.D. in a relevant scientific discipline and have 20-25 years of progressive R&D leadership experience in the chemical, agrochemical, or specialty chemicals industry. The role demands a proven track record in leading multidisciplinary R&D teams, driving innovation, and product commercialization, as well as expertise in process development, technology transfer, and intellectual property management.
