Greater New York City, NY Area (Hybrid)
The Company is seeking a VP, Business Management with a strong background in financial acumen and a proven track record in agency settings. The successful candidate will be responsible for the business management of large-scale, multi-million-dollar accounts, ensuring their fiscal health and profitability. This role demands a collaborative business partner who can work closely with account, project, and creative management, as well as finance and support service department leads. Key duties include partnering on the development of SOWs, being the client-facing lead on all business issues, and actively monitoring and managing client and project financial health. The VP will also be involved in providing accurate revenue forecasts, identifying and addressing any financial issues in real-time, and working on solutions to maximize work within the SOW and meet target profitability. Applicants for the VP, Business Management position at the company should have 8 to 10 years' of professional experience, with a preference for those with a background in the pharmaceutical industry. A Bachelor's degree is required, and an MBA or Master's degree is advantageous. The role requires solid experience in scoping, pricing, and scheduling projects, as well as expertise in Microsoft Excel and WorkFront. The ideal candidate will have professional presentation, training, and client-facing skills, along with effective negotiation and conflict management abilities. Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to influence and lead a team. The VP will also be responsible for contract management and must be adept at identifying and managing resource needs.
