The Company is seeking a Vice President of Contracting for the Oregon and Washington markets. This executive will be a key member of the Market Growth Leadership Team, responsible for driving innovative provider partnerships, network strategy, and value-based contracting. The role demands a leader with a proven track record in transforming provider relationships and a deep understanding of the health insurance industry, particularly in the area of value-based care models. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker, capable of leading high-performing teams through complex, large-scale change, and will be expected to champion best practices and innovative healthcare models. Candidates for the Vice President of Contracting position at the company should have a Master's degree in a relevant field and at least 15 years of broad healthcare and medical management leadership experience, with a significant focus on healthcare payer experience. The role requires expertise in developing and managing provider networks, as well as a strong background in contract negotiation with various healthcare entities. The ideal candidate will also have a demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools for driving efficiency and innovation, and possess deep business acumen with a focus on market dynamics, financial management, and data analysis. Strong communication, facilitation skills, and a proven ability to lead and develop teams are essential.
