The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President for Operations Risk and Control. The successful candidate will be responsible for the continuous assessment of operational risks, taking into account various factors such as business context, market conditions, regulatory changes, process updates, organizational changes, and new technology. This role involves supporting Risk and Control Owners and Operators in managing their processes, activities, and systems to ensure effective operation within the Risk Management Framework. The AVP will also be tasked with reporting and escalating operational incidents, collecting and validating operational risk data, and contributing to risk reporting and deep dives on priority risk areas. Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' of relevant experience in risk management frameworks and/or audit roles, with at least 2 years' of supervisory experience. Advanced training or professional qualifications in risk management are advantageous. The role requires a strong understanding of risk management principles, methodologies, tools, and governance activities, as well as a sound knowledge of operational risk characteristics and the development of monitoring tools. The ideal candidate will have significant technical understanding of risk platforms and the ability to communicate, negotiate, and influence effectively, with a proven track record of building strong relationships with senior leaders.
