Vice President, Corporate Controller

The Company is seeking a VP, Corporate Controller to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be a strategic business partner, overseeing global controllership, accounting, tax, treasury, compliance, and financial operations. This role is pivotal in defining and implementing scalable business processes, advising on revenue models, and ensuring operational excellence to support the company's significant domestic and international growth. The VP, Corporate Controller will lead a high-performing finance team, influence at all levels, and drive business goals by providing essential financial, operational, and governance counsel. Key responsibilities include providing in-depth revenue recognition expertise, owning the integrity of key business metrics, and leading all global accounting operations. The role also involves proactive engagement in deal structuring, supporting strategic vendor negotiations, and leading finance systems and transformation initiatives. Candidates for this role at the company should have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, a CPA license, and a strong background in SEC, FASB, and GAAP. Experience in the software and SaaS industry, particularly with revenue, costs to obtain contracts, and other relevant accounting standards, is essential. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building and leading global teams, be adept at handling multiple projects, and possess excellent interpersonal skills. Experience with financial systems, technology, and a background in process improvement, automation, and AI-driven tools is highly valued. Bonus points are awarded for experience in IPO readiness, SEC reporting, and operating in a public company.
