Executive Director of Strategic Workforce Initiatives

The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Strategic Workforce Initiatives to lead and manage high-priority programs that align with regional industry needs. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of strategic workforce initiatives, including oversight of various programs such as military outreach, apprenticeships, and the development of specialized centers. This role involves identifying emerging workforce needs, building and maintaining relationships with a wide range of partners, and securing funding to support initiatives. The Executive Director will also be tasked with supervising personnel, establishing goals, and monitoring the performance of the programs. Applicants for the Executive Director position must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least 5 years of experience in workforce development, economic development, or a related area. A Master's degree and experience in technical or community college settings are preferred. The role requires strong leadership, project management, communication, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with internal and external partners. Experience in emerging industries such as artificial intelligence, digital infrastructure, advanced manufacturing, or information technology is a plus. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing and managing workforce programs, employer partnerships, and strategic initiatives, and be adept at securing or administering grants and external funding.
