About the Role
Greater Singapore, Singapore Area
The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President for an Authorizer role in Structured Trade Operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily authorization of trade finance transactions, including import, export, and SBLC issuance. This role requires a strong focus on customer centricity, managing workflow to meet client expectations, and providing solutions and recommendations on trade finance matters. The AVP will also be tasked with ensuring that all transactions are processed in accordance with operating and compliance procedures, and within the stipulated service level agreements. Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in trade finance operations within a bank, with at least 2 years in an authorization role, preferably in a structured and commodity finance environment. The role demands a high level of proficiency in trade finance products, regulatory sanction requirements, and the application of various trade finance rules and incoterms. The AVP will be expected to coach and guide a team, review and improve policies and procedures, and exercise sound judgment in transaction monitoring. Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to work closely with various stakeholders to ensure the smooth processing of daily transactions.
