Senior Vice President, Regional CBG (Retail) Data Chapter Lead, Transformation & Data to the Group Chief Operating Officer (COO)
About the Role

The Company is seeking a Regional CBG (Retail) Data Chapter Lead with a focus on Transformation and Data to the Group Chief Operating Officer (COO). The successful candidate will be at the forefront of the end-to-end data, analytics, and AI ecosystem, driving business outcomes and uncovering new value through advanced data capabilities. This role requires a strategic leader who can partner with CBG leadership to identify and develop analytics strategies that maximize the impact of AI and ML, including Gen AI and Agentic AI. The Regional CBG Data Chapter Lead will be responsible for the full lifecycle of data products, ensuring their execution, and will play a key role in the industrialization of AI, driving the adoption of AI protocols and reusable assets. Applicants must have a minimum of 15 years' experience in data science and analytics, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership position, and a graduate or post-graduate degree in a science or finance-related discipline. The role demands a candidate with a strong business background in financial services, particularly in banking, and a deep understanding of the banking domain. Technical acumen in data analytics tools, AI techniques, and modern data stacks is essential. The ideal candidate will also possess strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills, with a passion for problem-solving and a relentless drive to promote a data-first culture. Responsibilities include talent management, governance, and ensuring compliance with AI and data governance standards.
