About the Role
Greater Singapore, Singapore Area (Hybrid)
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Compliance Strategy and Governance within the Business Risk and Control Management (BRCM) and Projects, Group Compliance division. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and updating compliance policies and procedures, supporting BRCM activities, and contributing to the annual review and execution of the business impact analysis and business continuity plan. This role also involves managing compliance events, supporting training and development programs, and promoting employee engagement. The ideal candidate should have a recognized diploma or degree with at least 7 years of relevant experience in compliance, risk management, governance, audit, and/or project management within a financial institution. Key responsibilities for the Vice President include maintaining effective risk and control practices, delivering division-wide programs and initiatives, and supporting the strategic enablement agenda of group compliance. The role requires a good understanding of compliance risk and control concepts, experience in policy/procedure management, and a strong interest in building capability in these areas. The candidate should possess strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, the role involves assisting with periodic reporting, stakeholder management, and supporting compliance projects and strategic initiatives as assigned.
