About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Credit Risk Modeler for Basel and Credit Scorecard within its Group Wholesale Banking division. The successful candidate will be part of the Group Portfolio Management team, with a focus on developing, implementing, and monitoring credit risk models for the Non-Retail portfolio. This includes Basel credit models, scorecards, and portfolio analytics. The role is pivotal in driving decision-making based on value analytics across the customer value chain and requires a strong background in credit risk model development and validation, or similar analytic roles, within a banking environment. Key responsibilities for this role include maintaining Basel credit risk models and scorecards, partnering with regional credit risk modelers for model validation and development, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The candidate will also be involved in supporting credit risk analytics for model usage and optimization, as well as driving the application of models in various areas of the credit cycle. The ideal candidate should have over 8 years of experience in the field, possess strong computing skills, and be adept at communicating technical information to a diverse audience. A good degree in a relevant field such as banking and finance, financial engineering, statistics, or computer science is required, with additional competencies in R, Python, and VBA being advantageous. The role demands a team player with the ability to manage multiple projects, work well with cross-functional teams, and be self-motivated.
