Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their team. The CFO will be a pivotal figure in the executive leadership, working closely with the CEO and Investors to lead the finance function and drive value creation, particularly in the areas of M&A, integration, and performance improvement. This hands-on role demands a commercially minded professional with a strong background in executing and integrating acquisitions, specifically within a professional or people-led services business. The successful candidate will be responsible for financial planning, forecasting, and scenario modeling, as well as preparing and presenting board materials, KPI reporting, and investor communications. Additionally, the CFO will oversee all financial aspects of acquisitions, lead financial diligence, and ensure regulatory compliance across the group. Applicants for the CFO position at the company must be qualified accountants (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with a minimum of 10 years' of post-qualification experience in a busy finance function. Prior experience as a CFO in a PE-backed SME is essential. The role requires excellent analytical and exceptional Excel skills, as well as a proven track record in providing actionable business information, including budgets, forecasts, cash flow, variance analysis, and financial models. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building scalable finance infrastructure, systems, and processes, and possess excellent interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
