Chief Operating Officer (COO)

The Company is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to play a pivotal role in building the organization of tomorrow. The successful candidate will be tasked with strengthening control over the current organization and building a scalable structure to support the company's ambitious growth. This includes realizing a robust and scalable production organization, integrating collaboration and communication across disciplines, and optimizing the division of labor between different locations. The COO will also be responsible for further developing management and professionals, as well as establishing a vision for data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement. The ideal COO for the company will have extensive experience in an R&D-driven and labor-intensive production environment, with a proven track record in the integrated management of a broad operational portfolio. Experience in stabilizing, professionalizing, and scaling up international and multi-location production environments is essential, as is a background in professionalizing information provision, performance management, and data-driven decision-making. The role requires a leader who is visible, connecting, and steadfast, and who can embody the company's vision, values, and culture. A good command of the Dutch and English languages and an academic working and thinking level are also necessary.
