Head of Operations

The Company is seeking a Head of Operations to take on the overall responsibility for the operational management of its mobility services, with a focus on both regular and charter transport. The successful candidate will be tasked with ensuring the operational performance of the business, while also driving the development of structures, processes, personnel planning, and digital control. This role requires a leader who can blend operational expertise with a strategic, entrepreneurial mindset, and a commitment to sustainable change. Key responsibilities include the strategic and operational leadership of the operations area, including the development and implementation of efficient, transparent, and excellent operational processes. The role also involves close collaboration with the management, technical teams, and both regular and charter transport operations. Applicants for the Head of Operations position at the company should have a strong background in a complex operational environment, ideally within the mobility, transport, logistics, or aviation sectors. The role demands a leader with a proven track record in managing resource-intensive operations, personnel, and capacity planning, as well as a deep understanding of commercial operations and KPI-based management. The ideal candidate will have a high level of IT affinity, experience in digitalization, process optimization, and the introduction of new planning and control systems. A resilient and assertive leadership style, combined with a practical and appreciative approach to management, is essential. While a degree is not mandatory, a relevant technical, commercial, or transport-related education is required. Proficiency in German is a must, with English language skills and a D driving license being advantageous.
