The Company is seeking an Assistant General Counsel with a focus on labor and employment matters. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal advice on a wide range of labor and employment issues, including but not limited to, wage and hour, workplace safety, discrimination, privacy, and labor-management relations. This role involves staying current on labor and employment laws, regulatory developments, and industry trends to develop proactive workforce risk and compliance strategies. The Assistant General Counsel will also be involved in investigations, government responses, and all aspects of labor and employment litigation, from risk assessment to trial preparation. Applicants must have a Juris Doctorate degree, be admitted to practice in at least one U.S. state, and have a minimum of 10 years' of relevant experience, with at least 5 years' in business law. The role requires a candidate with strong project and risk management skills, excellent communication, and the ability to influence and collaborate effectively. The ideal candidate will be performance-driven, with a strong work ethic, and the ability to inspire confidence. Adaptability, resilience, and the willingness to travel occasionally are also key attributes for this position. The Assistant General Counsel will work closely with the legal department and business units to ensure that legal strategies align with the company's values and business practices.
